movedodo ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you join our waitlist, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
This policy covers only the movedodo waitlist sign-up. When our full site launches, an updated privacy policy will apply to the live service.
Who we are
movedodo is the data controller for the information you give us when joining the waitlist. You can reach us at privacy@movedodo.com.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we collect your email address, and any optional details you choose to give us: your name, whether you're a buyer/renter or landlord/agent, the area you're looking in, your company, how many properties you have, how you heard about us, and any message you send.
How we use it
We use your details to manage the waitlist and to email you about movedodo's launch and related updates. The optional details help us understand our early audience. We do not sell your data.
Third parties
We use trusted third-party services to run and improve the waitlist experience, including a hosting provider and an email/marketing platform. They only process your data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. If you'd like to know which providers we use, just email us at privacy@movedodo.com. Your data may be processed outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by joining the waitlist and confirming your email. You can withdraw consent at any time (see "Your rights" below).
How we keep it secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until movedodo launches and for a reasonable period afterwards, or until you ask us to remove them.
Cookies
Our waitlist page does not use cookies. We measure page visits using privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that don't identify you or track you across other websites.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or port your data, withdraw consent, or object to our use of it at any time. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy at any time. If we make material changes, we'll let you know — for example by email.
